John Sikora is taking these mules to their day's work of pulling canal boats for the New Hope Canal Boat Company's mule-drawn canal boat ride. The Route 202 Bridge is in the background going over the canal. 10/9/99
The New Hope Train Station is to the right of the red building. Formerly a station of the Reading Railroad, today the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad uses it for railroad operations. The red building was a storehouse and barn when the canal was fully operational. On the opposite side of the canal from the station is the canal's towpath. It can be seen in the lower right corner of the photo. 10/9/99
A closer view of the New Hope Train Station. The building on the left is the station. A gift shop is in the building behind the telephone pole. 11/07/03
