In New Hope, PA, Lock 11 is being restored and made operational. The Locktender's House Museum is hidden behind the taller Evergreen Tree. The Photo is looking North. 2/4/04

Lock 11 being restored. The wood at the bottom of the lock was installed prior to the end of the Delaware Canal's operational era in 1931. Looking South, 2/4/04

Looking North, this photo shows the upper end of Lock 11 and the canal above. The yellow plow is clearing decades of mud from the bottom of the canal. The New Hope Canal Boat Company's mule-drawn canal boat rides load and unload here during their operating season. The Locktender's House and Museum is off the picture to the right. 2/4/04
